Ensuring Continuum of Care Structure and Accountability

The Governance Committee supports the accountability and structure of the Sacramento Continuum of Care (CoC) by overseeing foundational elements of governance and membership.

This includes the annual review of the Governance Charter, managing the CoC Board member appointment process, and supporting long-term planning efforts that ensure the CoC remains responsive and well-organized.

In addition to structural oversight, the Governance Committee reviews the annual budget and year-end reconciliation of the CoC Lead Agency and HMIS Lead Agency as they relate to CoC activities. It also helps develop strategies to invite and engage new CoC members each year, with a focus on strengthening participation across committees and the broader CoC structure.

Meetings
