Coordinated Access System Impact

Coordinated Access System reports create a more responsive system.

The Coordinated Access System (CAS) brings together problem-solving specialists with shelter, housing, and service providers through a single process.

The goal is to make a complex system more connected and to ensure that limited resources are directed where they will make the biggest difference.

Performance data helps show how well CAS is working; from assessments and referrals to outcomes and flow. These insights inform changes that make the system more responsive, efficient, and person-centered.

FY25 CoC NOFO Program Competition:
Community Information Session

HUD has released the FY25 Continuum of Care funding opportunity, outlining major changes to the application process, criteria, and timeline. This funding is Sacramento’s primary source of federal support for housing and services for people experiencing or at risk of homelessness.

We’re hosting a community information session to share what’s new and how our community is coordinating to apply for this funding.
