Committee meetings allow a broad range of voices to guide Sacramento’s homelessness response.
The Sacramento Continuum of Care (CoC) brings together people and organizations working to resolve homelessness through structured, collaborative meetings. Every committee and board meeting plays a role in shaping system-wide priorities, monitoring performance, and ensuring accountability to the community and to HUD.
These meetings are organized to support transparency, improve coordination, and strengthen the homelessness response system as a whole. Guided by the CoC Governance Charter, the CoC Board and its committees help steer funding decisions, elevate lived expertise, and support community-driven planning.
There are three types of meetings hosted by the CoC:
- CoC Board: Monthly, public meetings provide a space for the CoC Board to oversee the system and approves key decisions
- Committees: Groups with various interests and expertise meet regularly to dive into specific areas like youth, data, or coordinated access, with most meetings being open to the public.
- Annual Meeting: Once a year, the CoC hosts a community-wide gathering offering updates, encouraging transparency, and soliciting feedback.
Unless otherwise noted, these meetings are typically hosted virtually.
