She came prepared with documents, and within days, she was approved. Her relief and joy were palpable as she shared her excitement about finally having a home for her family."
"Fleeing gender-based violence in her home state, a client relocated to California hoping for a safer environment. Though she faced serious challenges securing housing, our team helped connect her to an all-women’s shelter where she now has access to the supportive services she needs to heal and move forward."
"A hardworking single father and his 16-year-old daughter came to the CAN program in search of housing. Despite his busy work schedule and her online schooling, he made time—even during his lunch breaks—to meet with his navigator and seek resources. Eventually, he secured a 21-day hotel voucher. He and his daughter have since exited the program and are one step closer to long-term housing."
