Sacramento Steps Forward is proud to announce that Skyclutch has been selected to lead the development of a new mobile app for Transition Age Youth (TAY) in the Sacramento region.

Skyclutch stood out in the competitive bidding process with their strong technical experience, thoughtful proposal, and collaborative approach. Their plan caters to youth needs by offering a simple, accessible way to connect with real-time support and services.

The mobile app will include a searchable directory synced with 2-1-1 Sacramento, chat and text features with trained referral specialists, a TAY toolkit featuring educational content, and other user-friendly tools, such as crisis resources, a community calendar, and accessibility settings.

Funded by the Homeless Housing, Assistance, and Prevention (HHAP) program, with staffing support from the Youth Homelessness Demonstration Program (YHDP), this one-year pilot is scheduled to launch in September 2025.
