This is a yearly opportunity to learn, engage, and shape our system.

Once a year, the CoC hosts a community-wide gathering offering updates, encouraging transparency, and soliciting feedback. Through this meeting, we invite community members of all roles to:

Learn: Annual meetings inform the broader CoC and homelessness response system (HRS) community of recent accomplishments, current projects, and future plans from within the CoC. They also provide education on the current regional HRS landscape and changing requirements for providers.

Engage: Annual meetings engage a broader audience of HRS stakeholders from the Sacramento region, initiating active conversations on relevant topics and soliciting feedback that influences CoC actions and priorities.

Collaborate: Annual meetings provide a venue for new or strengthened collaboration between community partners, bringing everyone onto the same page and providing resources for connecting within the HRS.

Previous Meetings

The Sacramento CoC conducted its 2024 Annual Meeting on December 3 at the Rancho Cordova City Hall. This in-person meeting centered on educating and sharing information regarding the current state of homelessness in the community, the CoC’s ongoing efforts to tackle this issue, and the upcoming challenges, opportunities, and objectives. The Sacramento CoC held its 2023 Annual Meeting on August 23. This hybrid half-day meeting was held in person at The California Endowment and via Zoom. This meeting focused on education and information-sharing about the state of homelessness in our community and the current work of the CoC to address it, as well as upcoming challenges, opportunities, and goals. You can view the meeting details, presentation, and recording here.

The Sacramento CoC held its 2022 Annual Meeting on Thursday, April 21 via Zoom. This half-day session provided information on Sacramento’s homeless response system and gathered stakeholder input to develop a local action plan to address homelessness in Sacramento.
