Community Partner Trainings
CalAIM for Homelessness Response System (HRS) Providers
This informational session focuses on CalAIM (California Advancing and Innovating Medi-Cal) Enhanced Care Management and housing-related Community Support services in Sacramento. The training will emphasize a population health approach and highlight Medi-Cal’s key role in tackling homelessness by integrating housing and healthcare systems, ensuring a holistic solution to complex challenges.
Sacramento County Housing and Disability Advocacy Program (HDAP)
HDAP is designed to assist individuals who are experiencing chronic homelessness and who are also unemployable due to a disability that is expected to last 12 months or longer. Through this training, you will better understand eligibility and program services as well as the Sacramento Steps Forward referrals process.
Disability Rights CA
Join Disability Rights California (DRC) and Sacramento Steps Forward (SSF) to better understand foundational laws and the current state of disability in California and across the US. You will learn about various disability frameworks, understand basic etiquette when interacting with people with disabilities, and apply best practices for integrating lived experience.
Know Your Rights: Tenant Protection
