We know that homelessness is complex and, usually, not a choice. Many on our team have lived this experience themselves, which makes empathy and understanding central to our mission and our work. We’re here to listen, support, and advocate for those who need it most.

Since 2011, Sacramento Steps Forward has led the region’s coordinated response to homelessness. We work hand-in-hand with local service providers, government agencies, and community organizations to create lasting solutions—together. Our team brings deep expertise and a commitment to sharing what works.

We’ve seen the difference that a connected community can make. Through our programs, partnerships, and planning, more people are getting the services they need. Outcomes are improving. And most importantly, lives are being changed and our community is gaining capacity.
